Monochromatic Guest Bedroom Who wouldn’t want to stay in this guest bedroom washed in subtle white hues and textures? Linda created the goblet top panels to compliment the ready-made bedspread. Linda created the gray textured pillows long with the floral embossed pillows and the small leaf print pillow to add texture and depth to the ready-made shams. Linda even embellished the lampshade with a burlap base with rose sheer overlay around the bottom of the shade. The client had a favorite piece of embossed chenille fabric that had been discontinued by the manufacturer. She wanted to incorporate it into her new guest bedroom design. Linda used the fabric to create the seat cushion for the leather chair. It’s topped with another accent pillow that coordinates with the bedding. Using high-end fabrics in small details adds high impact. For example, Linda cut the sheer rose band from 54 ” yardage and finished it with a rolled-hem edge. At each pleat front the band was gathered to create a wave of elegance.
